(1) research and development of suspended fillers

The chemical properties of the surface of the filler and the mechanism of the exfoliation of the filler should be studied in order to increase the specific surface area of the filler. The cost of the filler should be reduced as much as possible so that the filler can be widely applied to the wastewater treatment. Activated carbon, starch, gelatin, etc. can be used as bioactive additives, so that suspended fillers can promote the growth and reproduction of microorganisms.

(2) MBBR combination with other processes

Multi-level MBBR, MBBR and A / O combined process have their own advantages, the combination of these processes should be strengthened research and practical application. (3) MBBR process reactor research

By studying the reactor fluid mechanics, the shape of the reactor can be determined to optimize the reactor structure, thus avoiding packing and reducing energy consumption.
